Surprise going away party!!

Last Tuesday was my last night for YW's. The activity was suppose to be a movie night at one of the homes. I got there a little late due to not getting out of work on time. I walked through the door and all my girls jumped up and yelled, SURPRISE!! They had gotten my favorite colors and food from Ryan had decorated the whole house in streamers, ballons, and the food was all fat free dairy free so I could enjoy it!! Then we sat down and watched the "Moive" that they said we were going to do and it ended up being a video dedicated to me! They had put together pictures of camp, manti temple trip, food night and so forth. After watching a bunch of fun photos the next section started with the saying " WE ALL WALK BY FAITH BECAUSE OF YOU" then each girl had a picture and wrote me a personal note telling me of their love for me and what I had done for them and their testimony. I was shaking so hard because I was crying so hard. I often doubt myself that I have any talents. I am not a crafty person or one that can make anything. They made me realize that I am worth something and I did do my job ok and that I made a difference in their lives!! I am so amazed and so thankful to have had this opprotunity with them the past 2 and 1/2 years!! I LOVE YOU GIRLS!!!

Of course those girls love you! You are the coolest - Do you want to be my YW leader? Ha ha! You are so great with them and have such a talent for knowing what people need! I'm sure you were the best and that they will really miss you! I saw all the tears today! I wish I could have been in there with you - It would have been so much fun!

Family comes to visit and An UNWANTED Vistor comes to visit!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last week I was home doing some work before I had to leave for a Home Visit. I was siting on my couch when I hear someone on my back porch moving our chairs around. I thought it was Ryan since sometimes he comes in from the back when he puts his tools and ladders away. Except after this man gets the chair he places it in the corner by our french doors and sits down! My heart starts to beat and I go to the front to see if Ryan's truck is outside. His truck is NOT outside!!!! I then go to the window where the previous renters had broke and pear out and see a man sitting in my chair with tattoos all up his arm, wearing a wife beater and dickie shorts. He is crouched really close to the wall on the chair. My hearts begins to beat so fast! THERE IS A MAN ON MY BACK PORCH AND I AM HOME ALONE! My first reaction was to call the police. Walking What???

The past few weeks I have had a lot going on in my life. From the worries of new job resposibilities, loss of another baby, and lots and lots of travel I think my body just gave up from the emotional, physical and mental stress. Before we left for Chicago I was dealing with a sore throat and headache that seemed to stick around for a week or so. Then by last weekend when we were headed to California it went into my lungs. Those of you who have lived with me, espesially in college, know what comes with this outcome..........yes a wonderful sounding almost music like barking cough!!! My Senior Year I got Bronchitis really bad and ever since then I enjoy the wonderful outcome of what should be just a simple cold that you get over easily but not for me. Well this bark grew to a fever, sinus infection and having no energy. With taking pretty much all week off of work and trying to sleep and get rid of it and seeing no end in sight, I surrendered and went to the doctors last night! I hate ha...
