Chicago-Seeing Family

So I was lucky enough to be able to go home and see my new neice and spend time with my parents!! I havent been home in almost 2 years and it was WAY over due!!I went by myself which was hard because I love being in Chicago with Ryan since he served his mission and knows everything and everyone there too! But I am a big girl and did very well with going by myself.

I landed at O Hare airport. I took this picture of the toilets for those of you who have never seen the revolving toilet seat cover! I love that so much and look forward to going home and being able to push the button and not having to place my hands on the toilet seat!! After being amuzed with that I then took the "L" ( kind of like the subway) to my dad's work in downtown. I loved people watching and it was so nice to be back in the city.

We then went to the Chicago Temple to do a session as a family. I havent been with my parents in the temple since I got married and I had never been in the CHicago temple but to do baptizms so that was such a special time to be with my mom and my dad in the celestial room. I have such a greater love and appreciation when I am in the celestial room with family and how crucial it is.

The next two days I spent with my brothers five kids! My brother just had number 5 in May and she is so cute! I went to the park with them and played for a couple of hours just doing whatever they wanted me too! I loved every min of it!!

Sunday night my mom threw me a early birthday party and had family and friends over. I had a cake with no icing since my mom is so used to my set foods for my stomach. I made a wish hopefully this year it will come true! I enjoyed my last night with my family before taking off to reality!

Clint and I went to the Chicago temple for our 4th or 5th wedding anniversary. We drove past it several times. I wasn't expecting it to be so small. I LOVE that temple. Going to the temple the weekend we did brought some wonderful blessings. I'll always have a fond time of that weekend in Chicago nine months pregnant with Bryant. The drivers were a tad scary, but other than that, it was awesome.
