MEMORIES

Ok I wasn't going to do this, but I have been reading everyone elses comments about that person and I just been laughing and it's bringing back good memories. So I thought I would give it a try!!! It sounds fun so please play along!! I"m excited to hear the memories that you all have of me. 1. As you comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! 2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Such a FUN day

Image
One of my dear families that I worked with in Vegas came down to Phoenix this Tuesday for business. Ryan and I got to watch the girls and had their older son for help as well for the day and we had a blast. It was so much fun taking out all my toys that I have from work and playing with them. I had such a fun time trying to plan activities to do with the girls through out the day. They love to swim so we went to our pool and splashed and raced and I was blown away how well they could swim. Probablly because I dont know how to swim and they do better ALOT better than me! We then came home and made cookies. I had them help with the ingredients and stirring. the first batch turned out great and were all eaten as quickly as I pulled them out of the oven. The second batch didnt turn out so wonderful. Somehow the oven had been turned off and I put the cookies in there with out knowing. I then noticed and turned it back on but left the cookies in there while it heated back up. Needless to say...

Family comes to visit

Image
Last weekend we had Ryan's aunt, grandma and mom come into town to visit for a very short weekend. They arrived at 2:00 in the morning on Sat or should it be late Friday night? They then left by noon on Sunday. It was so nice to see them though. Ryan's mom and grandma flew to California to drop off the newest member of the family to his Aunt Jen. Her name is Joy and she is three and half months old and she is so long and skinny and so cute. She is getting along really well with her older sister Grrr. Here are some fun pictures of the two of them playing in our backyard. and then of all of us together. I hadnt gotten ready for the day so dont mind the basketball shorts and t-shirt.

What not to wear and wear at the beach

Image
So while we were in California last weekend enjoying ourselves at the beach. I start to looking around and people watching. I love doing that and I get in trouble sometimes from Ryan because it turns into a stare rather than a quick glance and he has to hit me or say my name to snap me out of it. I KNOW there are some of you who have done it too and know what I mean! Not being rude but just plain mesmerized. Well as I was scanning the beach I came across this. Now don't get me wrong, I am not trying to be a brat and make fun of this man. He is probably a nice man and maybe not even from the U.S. I have to say though that I honestly don't care to see that much skin and so little cover up of the family jewels!! I know that it takes some serious confidence to go in public wearing pretty much nothing but I just don't find that to be attractive. I much rather see something like this. Shorts that come at least past the mid thigh but prefer the closer to the knee the better! Wha...

4th of July Weekend-

Image
Ryan's little brother and sister are staying with us for the summer and we thought it would be a fun idea to take them to California for the 4th and to spend it with Ryan's aunt and uncle. We left Thursday afternoon and the weekend seemed to be filled with the same activities that we did three weeks ago when we went for Ryan's birthday. We ended up at the Angels Game again and the spent the day at the beach on Sat and then went and saw Hancock in the movie theater. The one thing that I really enjoyed at the game was the Star Spangled Banner. They had this huge flag come out to the field and as the song was sung it was opened and was just the coolest site to see. Then a huge jet went by and I couldnt help but feel proud to be an American and so thankful to be able to live in this country. The fireworks show was even better than last time and they did a great 4th addition. Ryan was in quite the mood as you can see when I am wanting to get a picture of him and I. We ate these ...

making a jump into technology

Image
Our PC that we bought in 2004 has seen better days and we have been using our Mac laptop for most of our time on the computer. Since Ryan has started this business we have needed to do a lot of work on the "slow" computer and decided that we needed to upgrade. We really like Mac and Ryan found that if we buy the new computer we would also get a free Itouch. So last night we bought the new Mac desktop and I got my Itouch. This is where the "jump into the new technology" comes for me. I maybe own 5 CD's and they were given to me. I held on to Tapes for as long as possible. I never bought any music when I had tapes I would record off the radio from my boom box! ( I know you know what I am talking about!)So you know that if I didnt buy tapes why would I spend money to buy CD's. So now that I have this Itouch I think I maybe will try to take some money and get some CD's that I actually like to listen to. My sister in law is here staying with us for a year and...
