Time out For Women- JoYfUl LiFe

This past weekend I was so lucky to be able to go to Time out For Women. This was my second time going and after being spiritually uplifted last time I was excited to go, I needed to go! The topic for the year was: JOYFUL LIFE- "Great delight or happiness caused by a life that is exceptionally good or satisfying". I find at times the Lord puts me in places that I need to be right at the specific time to help me in my times of despair. Our time out for women was suppose to be in Jan but due to the passing of our dear Prophet it was rescheduled for September. The past few weeks I have found myself struggling to stay a float. Trying to find peace and acceptance in where I am and what I am doing. As I sat listening to the talks on JOY I couldnt help but think about my life and my latest struggles. That time of year again!

That time of year again where it begins to be cooler if you live outside of Phoenix and the kids go back to school. I have learned a lot too, a lot more than I did when I cheered in high school. I impress Ryan sometimes on watching the play and knowing what the FLAG was thrown for. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday night football games does seem a l...

I figured he had something planned but did not expect what he had up his sleeve. Wednesday night he came up to me after we were done with dinner and let me know I needed to be packed tomorrow before I go to my afternoon meeting because once I got home my birthday was going to start. I was like ok! Thursday night he took me to the Scottsdale Plaza Resort and had got a reservation for a Villa there! The next day he had all planned out. We got up when we woke up, which was so nice and went to my favorite breakfast place- The Original Pancake House where I got my favorite, the Dutch baby. When we got back he let me know that I had a scheduled massage at the spa. I went and did my massage while he waited for me. It was AWESOME and so needed! I warned the girl of the massive knots she would find in my neck, should...
