100th Post and Perfect Timing

Easter weekend- April 6,2008 I made my first post and started the world of blogging! I had some friends earlier tell me of their blogs and had asked me to join. I gave them the half smile and well........maybe remarks but in my head was saying NO WAY!!! What do I have to offer to the blogging world? The blogs that I had mostly seen were filled with the JOY of motherhood and well that's it! What would I have to offer and what would anyone want to get from mine if it wasnt filled with that??! A few months later I decided what the HECK, why not try and see if I can join this world and hopefully have something interesting to say that people would want to comment on and enjoy! Needless to say, blogging is not all what I thought it was and no not everyone blogs just about that one subject. Blogging has become an outlet for me! A place where I can share so many different feelings, adventures, thoughts, hurts, joys, new beginnings, and in return feel so much love! I NEVER knew how much joy...

just the TWO of us- you and I

The past few weeks Ryan and I have had some fun together just the two of us! Ryan's Grandpa came back into town from Seattle for the winter and he bought us tickets to the Washington Huskies vs Arizona Sun Devils. We came down from Vegas two years ago to go to the game with him and so it has become our little tradition. This time though his grandpa brought his girlfriend and instead of wanting to do the play by plays with Ryan he wanted to be right there next to his new sweetheart. It was really cute. He seems very happy. With him wanting to spend all his time with his new sweetheart, the game was like it was just the two of us there. It was a LONG game!!! It took over two hours just to get to the second half and both teams were playing HORRIBLE. It came down to a nail biter where we thought with 13 seconds left that we would go into overtime with it being tied at 17 and ASU having two downs before the time would go out! WELL..........they threw the ball long and made a touchdown ...

BACK TO THE MOUNTAINS

Last week at this time we were in Salt Lake City, Utah. It has been a little over a year and half since I have been back. Utah holds a special place for me since I lived there for seven years after highschool and went there a ton while growing up. Those seven years I became closer to my friends that I have met from college than I am with those from back home. I know Utah by the back of my hand but for some reason cant get around the outside of my hometown Aurora for the life of me!! Those friends that I met became "FAMILY" to me due to being so far away from home. We only had a short time in Utah. We got to see a lot of friends and family but there were a lot that we were not able to see and I feel bad. I hope you can forgive us and know that we love you! We came for my roommates wedding and it turned out beautiful! Here are a few shots of Katie and Clayton on their big day! Katie walking down the isle with her dad!
