Christmas 2010 with family!

Image
After 3 years of having CHRISTMAS alone it was so nice to be around family and to spend time with one another. It was nice to be apart of the Traditional Christmas Eve dinner of Prime Rib, garlic mashed potatos, jello, rolls, salad, and yummy yummy desserts. We then had the traditional White Elephant Gift exchange. It was pretty funny to see what everyone brought and how most of the gifts were gifts that were around the house instead of bought. Here are some pictures of the fun night! The Group Ryan's Grandma and Grandpa  Ryan's beautiful mom  Heidi, dear family friends from growing up  Ryan was so stoked to get a Turkey!  Kim got the last number and got the MOST wanted gift she wanted oh wait what Kyle wanted too!  Isaac had a good time too Christmas Morning Before we left for Family I took some shots of our tree and Haydeez! By SMALL and SIMPLE things GREAT things are BROUGHT to pass

Ok- I am finally having the time, energy, and ability to sit down and write about the Phone Consultaion I had with the doctor in Texas. I have to back track a little bit because I need to document how this appointment all fell into place. Monday November 29: Called doctors office in Texas to talk to the doctor to know what the results mean. The nurse tells me that I first need to fill out a First Time Patient Questionare and then fax it to her and then she will set up a time to consult over the phone with the doctor. WHAT? That is NOT what I had in mind when I talked to my doctor on the 24th of November the night before Thanksgiving. She made it seem like I was going to get my ANWSERS today! I was so bummed........but what could I do but go forward and do what she asked. I spent the next hour or so before my HV's filling out the forms and faxed them as soon as I got to work. The nurse also wanted me to ask my doctor if she sent all my records or just a few since she was t...

Snowy Thanksgiving 2010

Image
This Thanksgiving was VERY different than the previous ones that Ryan and I have had. The past 4 years we made a tradition of going to Seal Beach, California and having dinner with Ryan's uncle and aunt while spending time at the beach and enjoying the ocean at our front door! Needless to say when the Monday afternoon before Thanksgiving arrived we got hit with this and it was NOTHING like the OCEAN!!! Made me think- Oh I wish we were going to California!!! I am NOT liking the white stuff falling from the sky and ESPECIALLY NOT liking the temperature at 11 degrees at night and around 20's during the day! BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I did make the most of it and found my beanies from when I lived in Salt Lake City and took doggy out to enjoy the snow for his VERY first time! It was fun to watch him as he wasnt quite sure what to think. By the time he was done running up and down the driveway he gave me the LOOK of...........I'm COLD, I'm DONE, inside PLEASE!  I...
