It's Official

Well it is official. We are Arizonians, if that is how you say it. After four months of being here we finally went and got our cars registered. We got our licenses and Arizona insurance in May but did not complete the task with the cars. I am such a procrastinator and was trying to hold out for as long as we could. I HATE the DMV!!! We got a letter from Nevada DMV threatening us that they were going to suspend our registration and licenses since it was showing on their records that we didnt have insurance. We did just not Nevada insurance. So this week we were finally pushed to go and take on the DMV. Luckily Arizona is smart and actually has enough DMV's for the population unlike Nevada who has four for the what ever million people that live in a small area!!! I was very pleased to only wait for 15 min at the most until we were called to the counter and given our new plates. The bummer is the next day I was driving and went through a yellow light and FLASH the stupid Camera Radar took my picture and now they have my new plates instead of the Nevada one! O well, they say that they really cant get you, we shall see!

Huh, I didn't think they still had the camera police. Ewww.... oh I hate Utah DMV's too. Just the smell of them are aweful! And the she-man's that work there.

Isn't it crazy where life has taken each of us. Who would've thunk? So...are you coming to the GNO later this month in St. G. I sure hope to see you so you can tickle my arm and leave a clump of hair in the shower. Ahhh...those were the days...miss ya!!

Isn't sad that they make you surrender your plates from the previous state, I always felt it was a piece that I wanted to take with me. :) I can't believe they took a picture of you just for a yellow, are they bored in Arizona and are just trying to find a way to get your money. LOL

Congrats for being official! Hopefully that ticket won't catch up with ya- but, I've never had a problem with them.
We need to hang out again soon- it seems like its been too long!

Congrats! Sometimes when things sound so official it can be scary, but you've done this before, so it might not be so bad.

Love it! I am actually counting down when I can get Maryland plates because I know people just cus me when I am driving with Utah plates thinking I am a bad driver!

I keep all of my plates from where I lived. Including my Aggies plates. I heart it.

Last week I was home doing some work before I had to leave for a Home Visit. I was siting on my couch when I hear someone on my back porch moving our chairs around. I thought it was Ryan since sometimes he comes in from the back when he puts his tools and ladders away. This is really LONG and sorry mostly words but those of you who like to read my spiritual posts continue on because this is a big one! Just before Christmas Ryan and I were told about a possible adoption opportunity. We had talked about adopting in the past but had not done anything about it due to well.............. I cant really say. With this new opportunity of, just by chance my waiting to be a mom could be over, brought lots of emotions of excitement, joy, worry, anxiety, hope, and so many more. We needed to get our acts together right away in the process since the potential birth mom was due in May. Ryan's mom has a dear friend working for LDS services here in Washington and got us set up right away to get started on all the paperwork, online stuff, and going about getting all the background checks and homestudy done. So I was asked a couple of weeks ago to teach a class for Enrichment on: HOW to CREATE a SAFE BLOG I had been fighting the feeling of putting my blog private for sometime now. I am a little lazy and haven't wanted to take the extra time to get everyones email and then go through the process of changing things over but the time has come TO MAKE A CHANGE! I do use my blog to share my life and all aspects of it. I have been really personal in the past year and I know that a lot of people that I really didnt/shouldnt have read the things that I have been going through have read it.
