Update and Thank you!!

I first off wanted to tell everyone thank you for your sweet words of concern and love towards me and my mom. I really appreciated it so much! It is so nice to know that even though I may not see a lot of you that you are there as support to me and my family! I love you all!

An update on my mom. Test results came back and everything came back negative!!! She is doing awesome and has had such a quick recovery from the surgery. After extensive blood work they have put my mom on thyroid medicine and think that it should do the trick. I cant help but thank heavenly father for his watchful hand in all of this. Again it is a miracle as the doctors thought it didnt look good and again it came out ok. If anyone ever doubts about pray, fasting, and temple service for loved ones in need, I would love to offer some words of encouragement. I know it has everything to do with the Lord's will but the overwhelming peace, fast healing and comfort that my mom has felt through all of this also comes into play with those main precepts. I am again reminded how thankful I am for having the gospel in my life!

Yeah! What a relief! My mom is also on thyroid medicine and just had half of her thyroid taken out this summer. All is well...the lord knows what we need our moms.

Hey girl! Wow...i had no idea about your mom, but it's so good to hear that she is doing better and everything came back negative! I hate cancer! It's so scary. I love you and want you to know that your mom is in our prayers! Hope she recovers well. I miss you and wish i could come down to st. george next week! I'm so sad i won't beable to be there! Have tons of fun for me and hopefully i will talk to you soon! love you!

Last week I was home doing some work before I had to leave for a Home Visit. I was siting on my couch when I hear someone on my back porch moving our chairs around. I thought it was Ryan since sometimes he comes in from the back when he puts his tools and ladders away. This is really LONG and sorry mostly words but those of you who like to read my spiritual posts continue on because this is a big one! Just before Christmas Ryan and I were told about a possible adoption opportunity. We had talked about adopting in the past but had not done anything about it due to well.............. I cant really say. With this new opportunity of, just by chance my waiting to be a mom could be over, brought lots of emotions of excitement, joy, worry, anxiety, hope, and so many more. We needed to get our acts together right away in the process since the potential birth mom was due in May. Ryan's mom has a dear friend working for LDS services here in Washington and got us set up right away to get started on all the paperwork, online stuff, and going about getting all the background checks and homestudy done. BIG CHANGE

So I was asked a couple of weeks ago to teach a class for Enrichment on: HOW to CREATE a SAFE BLOG I had been fighting the feeling of putting my blog private for sometime now. I am a little lazy and haven't wanted to take the extra time to get everyones email and then go through the process of changing things over but the time has come TO MAKE A CHANGE! I do use my blog to share my life and all aspects of it. I have been really personal in the past year and I know that a lot of people that I really didnt/shouldnt have read the things that I have been going through have read it.
