New Years Eve and New Years Day
NEW YEARS EVE ended up being a quite one. We planned on going to dinner and hanging out with some friends and bringing it in with dinner and an outing but had to cancel the day of due to Ryan being sick. He got sick Monday night and by Wed night was dealing with a full blown cold. So we did New Years Eve with style and ordered Pizza, breadsticks, and Good old Henry rootbeer.
NEW YEARS DAY is of course a football day when you are a Wennerlind. I have acutally gotten into football this year ( if you can't beat it, then join it right?) I took the left over ham and hambone and made Homemade Ham Hock soup! I know, I am getting into this domestic role! I also bought Ryan's favorite snacks and again sat down with Henry and enjoyed watching the Rose Bowl and having the PAC 10 go 5-0 in the bowl games!
It was a nice getaway from the things of the world and just sit and be with one another. I always like to talk about goals for the following year and talk about what we want to work on as a couple and what I want to work on for me, cause I have a lot to do! As we walked back to the car hand in hand I couldnt help but feel renewed and ready for a new year and a new start and a new ATTITUDE. I look forward to this new year as we work together on our goals as a couple and as individuals. I hope that this year brings many good things to all of you!

I'm sorry Ryan's sick and I also thought your comment about rubbing his head was hilarious, isn't that every guy???
I totally thought the picture with the palm tree's were fireworks and figured you guys went out until I read your post. Temple grounds are just beautiful with all the many lights, what a great thing to go do together! I'm so impressed with the soup you made, you are turning quite domestic! You know what the means right, that means your preparing yourself for being a mommy and I know 2009 will bring great blessings to you guys! I love you and Happy New Year!
i hope that your new year is full of new opportunities and blessings. you are sure one of those that deserves everything! i hope that your hubby is feeling better. he is lucky to have you take care of him.
xoxo
Your hubby was @ the Cardinal's game with us last weekend and being a typical guy, he left the camera in the car! Lucky for them, I had mine! Leave me a comment w/ your email address and I'll send you the pics from the game!
