Last year I didnt get to write on the official day due to moving and no internet set up yet. So I thought since it was Sunday and it really isnt a day of celebrating the traditional way due to not being able to go out I would take time to write
Happy Anniversary # 6

Saturday, May 24, 2003, 8:00 in the morning in Nauvoo, lL.!
All I can say is: WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE!?? I remember my grandpa telling us over dinner right before we got married to really soak in the time together and cherish the school years even if they seem that they are hard and that the end is so far away Because it will come and go like a blink of an eye. I was like YEAH RIGHT!!! I have 4 to 5 long years ahead of us since Ryan had no schooling when we got married!!! Now that it has been a year since Ryan has been out of school and we have been in Phoenix. I do cherish that time and boy he was right about gone in a blink of an eye!
Us in Chicago on part of our honeymoon

Not only does this mark our 6th year of marriage it also marks our 1 year anniversary of being in Queen Creek, Arizona! This has been a year full of joy, sorrow, excitement, growth, and looking back we have been so blessed!!! The job has been tough due to trying to promote a new company at an economical down point but we don't regret the decision that we made. Ryan is such a hard worker and in the last few months has really started to make things move forward. I feel so lucky to be married to a man that NEVER looks for the easy way out. He has put his dues in with school and hard work and we have been blessed because of it. We have what we have because of HARD WORK! He is always going the extra mile and he is reconized by that by other contractors who have been putting his name out there! He is determined to provide for us and will do it at any cost. I believe that the job was an opprotunity to get us here but was not the only reason we were suppose to be here.
I found our home on Craigs List. Yup,,, who would of thought! It was such a prompting from the spirit because he led us to a community, ward, and friends that I will forever be grateful for! As I look back on this past year I have NEVER been so blessed with such wonderful women in my life. It hasnt been an easy year for me but it has been barable because of so many people who care and I cant ever thank them enough! My job has been a blessing and this year I have dodged some serious bullets to escape being fired. I feel so blessed, this line of work has taught me so much. Visiting with my brother and sister in law this past Feb really truly helped open my eyes to some reasons to my plan in life and that what I do isnt just a job but is just that...part of my plan!
We talked about temple marriage last week in Young Womens and I looked back and remembered that day and thinking that was one of the most important decisions I have ever made! We always go around our anniversary and due sealings to help remind us of the promises that we made that day.
We aren't doing anything to wild or crazy. We are headed to the Lake tomorrow for Memorial Day and then in August we are going to Washington DC for one of Ryan's mission companion's. He and his beautiful bride to be are getting married in the Washington DC temple. We are so excited to go!!! We are going to make it a big trip instead of a 24 hour deal that we tend to always do because of worry of money and work. I want a real vacation!!!! So it will be our anniversary trip!
Life is definitly a journey and I feel so lucky to be on this journey with Ryan forever!
Here are some fun photos of the past 6yrs together!
