Dinner, DBACKS, 18 holes of Golf, Dinner and DBACKS again= HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN

Since Ryan did such an awesome job with my birthday last year with the surprise Villa and massage I knew I needed to do a good job for him this year. We had wanted to go to California again since he loved going to the Angels game for his big day. Well since we went to Vegas the week before and we are going to California at the end of June we opted not to. I thought I would get him D-BACK tickets instead and we would go to that in the late afternoon and I would set an early tee time for Sat morning for us to golf together. I had it all planned out and on Wed he texted me telling me that his buddy Jason gave him Diamond Back tickets for Friday and wanted to know if we had plans!!!!!!!! I was like great! I bought tickets for Sat for his birthday and now I have to let the cat out of the bag! I NEVER get to surprise him. He was so excited about going to the game twice that it ended up being a good thing! I was so happy! The game on Friday was a late game so I made reservations at Kincaids ( a steak and fish house). We ordered Calamari, our favorite appetizer! Ryan had Prime Rib with mashed potatoes and I got Jumbo Shrimp with kuscu and fresh vegatables.It was so yummy!!! It was perfect too cause it was right across the street from CHASE Field!

The waiter found out it was his birthday and brought us a complimentary dessert!Ryan got to make a wish!

Here we are right after the game was over- So hard for me to get Ryan to do pictures! He hates it!


We also got fireworks after the game just for Ryan!


Saturday Morning June 13 his 28th Birthday we headed out early to play golf with one another! It was so fun! I actually have a sport that I can do with Ryan and actual do ok!

After golf I rushed over to a baby shower for one of Ryan's Mission companion's wife. I got to spend time with her and then rushed back home to get in the car and take off for down town again! We ate at the ball field and had hotdogs. Only time I will eat one!


After the game we then headed back to our neighbors and Ryan got to finish the UFC fight. I wanted to have pictures of us at the second game but thought it would be a good present from me to him not to do pictures! It was such a fun weekend spending it with just the two of us! Hard to believe we have spent 7 birthdays together! Time really does fly when you enjoy being with your best friend! Happy Birthday Baby!!!

So fun! Jesse just went to the dbacks game last friday also. He took maddie and robby and my dad with him. Hey I have a question/favor for you. We are speaking in church a week from Sunday (I think the 29th? of June) and I was wondering if we could leave the kiddos by you just during our talks???? We are planning to sit down in the seats until just before our talks. What do you think??

What a nice birthday present, even if the surprise part didn't happen! I didn't know you golfed - looks like you guys had a great time!

Hey, are you coming to Chicago anytime soon? We're driving up in July for two weeks. I can't wait to get out of this Texas heat!

Last week I was home doing some work before I had to leave for a Home Visit. I was siting on my couch when I hear someone on my back porch moving our chairs around. I thought it was Ryan since sometimes he comes in from the back when he puts his tools and ladders away. Except after this man gets the chair he places it in the corner by our french doors and sits down! My heart starts to beat and I go to the front to see if Ryan's truck is outside. His truck is NOT outside!!!! This is really LONG and sorry mostly words but those of you who like to read my spiritual posts continue on because this is a big one! Just before Christmas Ryan and I were told about a possible adoption opportunity. We had talked about adopting in the past but had not done anything about it due to well.............. I cant really say. With this new opportunity of, just by chance my waiting to be a mom could be over, brought lots of emotions of excitement, joy, worry, anxiety, hope, and so many more. We needed to get our acts together right away in the process since the potential birth mom was due in May. Ryan's mom has a dear friend working for LDS services here in Washington and got us set up right away to get started on all the paperwork, online stuff, and going about getting all the background checks and homestudy done. So I was asked a couple of weeks ago to teach a class for Enrichment on: HOW to CREATE a SAFE BLOG I had been fighting the feeling of putting my blog private for sometime now. I am a little lazy and haven't wanted to take the extra time to get everyones email and then go through the process of changing things over but the time has come TO MAKE A CHANGE! I do use my blog to share my life and all aspects of it.
