An Eternal Family

A couple of posts back I did one on one of my little girls that I had in Vegas that was placed in a new home with her older and younger sister. Well, the adoption was final the end of May and their sealing was Sat. June 6, 2009!

We werent sure when the sealing was going to be so about a month ago we had made plans to go to California for the week before Ryan's birthday. We went last year and it was so fun. We got the invite to the sealing the same weekend that we had wanted to go. Both of us looked at each other and new that we were going to have to put the California trip on hold and were so excited to go to Las Vegas and be there for this special sealing. It was an extremely quick trip. I had a lot of doctors appointments on Friday so we left late and spent most of Sat with the family and then got up early Sunday and drove home. Even though it was a quick trip it was so worth it!

I was bawling even before the family walked into the sealing room. Then when they walked in hand in hand all in white I couldn't keep it together! I turned and looked at Ryan and even though he tends to play the macho man, he had tears running down his face as well! The spirit was so strong and as they talked about families and the importance of a forever family I was so overwhelmed! Knowing where these little girls were almost four years ago to now is such a blessing. Knowing that they are going to be raised in the gospel and to know that they are choice daughters of their Heavenly Father is such a comfort to me. I felt that my prayers had been answered for them! They got EVERYTHING!

Here is the FOREVER family right after the sealing!

The dresses were made out of their mom's wedding dress! So sweet!

The girls remembered Ryan and couldnt wait to give him a hug and talk to him!

I love this little girl!

Ryan and I together

All of us together!

I will NEVER forget this experience! I truly believe the Lord puts us in places that we need to be to grow and learn. I know that it was not an accident that one of my first clients in Las Vegas was this little girl! She has taught me so much and through this whole experience I can not deny that their is a plan for all of us! Thank you Becky and Eric for letting Ryan and I share this special day with you and your new ETERNAL family!

Karm that looks like it was such an amazing experience to be a part of. When Kory and I had our 2 oldest kids sealed to us it was such a wonderful and spiritual experience for us too. It's so comforting to know that we can be sealed forever. I got your message today. You are so sweet and thoughtful to remember me. You have always been such a great friend and blessing in my life. I am packing for Girl's Camp (taking a 2 minute break) and will be gone thru the week, but I will def. give you a call when I get back to chit-chat. Love ya. XOXOX
Who knew that I could be cheesy too?!?
