Three months ago we found out that our two dear friends here in Phoenix Mike and Deanna

Had two yorkies and they made some puppies!!! Abby had her XRAY done and we found out that she was having 5 puppies!!! Both Ryan and I have fallen in love with their two dogs Abby and Teddy and were so excited for them to have puppies! Little did we know that they would be so sweet and give us one of their sweet puppies to add to our family!

7 weeks ago these adorable sweet little babies were born. Mike was out of town in California for work and Deanna had to work at nights so we said that we would help out and take care of the puppies during the night! I was so excited to help out! It was like having a new born. Ryan and I were up every two hours making sure they were eating, staying warm, and just plain ok. Abby had to have a C-Section so she was pretty sore and it took a little bit for her milk to come in so we had to help with a few of the puppies by medicine dropper feeding! I fell so in love with these sweet little ones!

Two out of the five puppies were A LOT bigger than the other three and now have teeth and are getting too big to be around Abby. Our dear friends let us take home "Chewy" on Sunday. Here is a few photos of there goodbyes!



They will miss him so but we live a mile away so we will see each other A LOT!!!! We are FAMILY!!! Having our little puppy for the past few days has made me smile from ear to ear! He gets so excited to see me when I come home and gives me kisses after kisses after kisses! We love him so much! His first night he was with us he started crying about 2 in the morning and Ryan slept with him on the couch cause he didnt want him to be sad! Every time I came home from work he was cuddled up on Ryan's shouldars and chest! We both are so HAPPY! I think we both needed something to love and take care of! Thank you so much Mike and Deanna!!!! We owe you the WORLD!!!!

OH MY GOSH!!! If you ever need a dog sitter I'm the one to call. That is the cutest dog in the entire world. I want to come play. How exciting, animals make everyday better. I'm so happy for you both.

OH MY GOSH!!!! He is ADORABLE! I love Yorkies to death, he is the cuttest puppy I have ever seen (well besides Jack :) ) Good luck with all the puppy phases of biting, barking, etc but just remember it is SO worth it. But...if you do need to vent about it just give me a call. There is nothing like a best friend that will always listen, be there for you and love you no matter what!!:) Congrats

Ok seriously I am in love! What a doll!! My sister had a Yorkie named Murphy and it was the cutest thing ever. Looks just like hers. So what's your little guy's name? I am so happy for you!

That is the cutest puppy ever! It ALMOST makes me want a dog! You will have to post about all the potty training accidents and chewing problems to cure me because I don't think I can handle a puppy and newborn! Logan would love a dog though. Good luck with him! He is so adorable!

so cute! ellie's favorite puppy is a yorkie. i could make him some cute shoes....but i'm not as creative with making boy things!-or lil doggy things for that matter. :) but it would be fun to amke things with you...marcus says you need to move back here to utah.

Oh my heavens I just want to squeeze him, he's so adorable!!! You are lucky and what great friends of you to watch those little puppies and of them to give you one! Yeah, you are an adorable little family and how cute that Ryan's getting up at night. I'm smiling just looking at stinkin cute he is!!!! I love to see you so joyful Karm, it makes my day! Love the cute pictures! Especially the one of Abby with "new mom" hair climbing up the couch to see her babies! He is cute & I am glad he makes you 2 so happy, you deserve it! And thx again for your help taking care of Abby & the babies and giving one a good home :)

Oh-mi-goodness, Oh-mi-goodness!! So sweet, I love puppies! She is so adorable. This reminds me of when I was a little girl. My parents raised chocolate labs. There was nothing sweeter than hearing those sweet baby puppy grunts. Congrats on your new addition! So sweet!

Last week I was home doing some work before I had to leave for a Home Visit. I was siting on my couch when I hear someone on my back porch moving our chairs around. I thought it was Ryan since sometimes he comes in from the back when he puts his tools and ladders away. This is really LONG and sorry mostly words but those of you who like to read my spiritual posts continue on because this is a big one! Just before Christmas Ryan and I were told about a possible adoption opportunity. We had talked about adopting in the past but had not done anything about it due to well.............. I cant really say. With this new opportunity of, just by chance my waiting to be a mom could be over, brought lots of emotions of excitement, joy, worry, anxiety, hope, and so many more. We needed to get our acts together right away in the process since the potential birth mom was due in May. Ryan's mom has a dear friend working for LDS services here in Washington and got us set up right away to get started on all the paperwork, online stuff, and going about getting all the background checks and homestudy done. So I was asked a couple of weeks ago to teach a class for Enrichment on: HOW to CREATE a SAFE BLOG I had been fighting the feeling of putting my blog private for sometime now. I am a little lazy and haven't wanted to take the extra time to get everyones email and then go through the process of changing things over but the time has come TO MAKE A CHANGE!
