Could you sleep after seeing this?

I know that living in the Southwest this is a creature that just happens to dwell here and you have to bare with it but in the past 18 months we have not had any of these lovely creatures in our home! People three doors down have a ton and lots of my friends have dealt with them. I never once thought twice about them or got worried since we NEVER had one in our house!!! The night we got our Haydeez the next morning we woke up to this in our kitchen. Three weeks later one outside by the garage and in our front bedroom. One week later after that in my BEDROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was seriously the worst thing especially since I was getting ready for bed and thought it was a pile of fuzz that Haydeez had made and went to pick it up and just about got stung!! Needless to say the bug guy got a call and he did our house up and down! We havent had any sence but I still am afraid to walk into a room that is dark and still check EVERYTHING before going to bed at night!!!! NO GOOD NO GOOD!!!

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! That is one HUGE scorpion. I'd of freaked out. Good thing my god dog didn't find it. That could have really hurt him. I'm bringing my black light back, just in case.

Karm, that is the sickest thing I've ever seen. I'm getting jumpy just reading about it, I'm so sorry Karm. Good thing you called the bug guys. Ya know when I was in Utah I laughed at hearing all these guys going to sell pest control, but after living in the hot part of California and seeing black widows everywhere I understand and I can only imagine they have much success in Arizona. How do they get inside and someone needs to explain the whole black light thing, are they frightened by the black light or something? What if your sweet little Haydeez got by one of those things, scary!

I'm hoping you don't ever have to deal with those again. Yuk, that picture is disgusting!

When we first moved it we didn't have any and then our neighbors started putting in their pool and we started getting them!! Ryan bought a black light and we would walk around the house at night hunting for them. They never show up when you are looking for them though, they always scared me to death!!

A friend of mine told me her cat ate scorpions. Chickens will eat them too. Just a thought. :) Regardless, they freak me out also.
