Best XMAS in a Long Time!

I have a little bit of catch up before the big XMAS Eve and XMAS day stuff. I swear every year the time goes faster and faster from Thanksgiving to XMAS!!! This month especially went fast due to all my mishaps and preparing to move! I did however through the business of everything get a few shots of some fun activities:

Here we are putting up our XMAS stuff. Even though we were moving out of the house 3 days after XMAS Ryan wanted the decorations up. So here he is putting up the tree

Haydeez loved helping!! He loved the green stuff!

After we were finished Haydeez sister Phoebe came over to play they love their sticks!

Here is Haydeez under the tree! It was like having a two year old- having to tell him no touch, no chew, and no pull! :)

We did a christmas caroling hayride with the Youth for our last mutual before XMAS! It seriously was so much fun! It really helped me get into the XMAS mood! I loved going through our entire neighborhood singing as loud as we could the XMAS songs and having families come out of their homes to hear us! The kids had a blast and it was even cold so it felt like real DECEMBER!

I love the BALLET!!!! I was in dance for many years and it was a dream of mine to become a professional ballet dancer! Obviously that dream didnt happen so instead I love going to ballets and seeing talented ballerinas on stage! I went a couple of months ago with one of my Young Woman to SWAN LAKE!!!! Oh my gosh!!! So wonderful!!!! She is in dance and is currently taking point so she loves the ballet as much as I do!!! She loves the NUTCRACKER and for her XMAS present I got her tickets to the NUTCRACKER!!!! We went on the 22nd and it was PREFECT, she was ok with a girl with bumps all over her body and a bad cough!!!!!

Here we are at my house

Here we are in front of the Grand Tree at the Phoenix Symphony Hall!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!

XMAS EVE

Since I missed so much work I went and saw a few clients that morning. Ryan and I then took off for Sun City West to spend the rest of the day with his Grandpa and his girlfriend. It was a beautiful day. Ryan's grandpa got us a tee time so we had lunch and golfed that afternoon. We then came back and had a wonderful dinner!!!

Here is Grandpa cutting the Lamb!! Yum Yum!!

Here is dinner already to eat!

Haydeez came and was such a good boy!!! He loves to snuggle with daddy!

It is a tradition to light these candle bags on the sidewalks of the house in Sun City West so we helped light them! Haydeez helped too! :)

Haydeez had a long day and looked so cute asleep by the tree!

We then headed home and went over to our neighbors and helped them with Santa!!! It was seriously so much fun! It made me really excited for when the time comes that Ryan and I get to work hand in hand with Santa! Normally at times like these I have a hard time with being just the two of us but this XMAS I have felt such peace and being carried and was so happy!

XMAS Day!

Since we were up helping Santa so late we didnt get up till 10:00. We opened presents and had my best friend from back home come over with her husband and their little dog for the traditional WENNERLIND XMAS breakfest WAFFLES, STRAWBERRIES, SAUSAGE and REAL HOMEMADE WHIPPING CREAM!

Here we are opening presents: BEWARE WE LOOK SCARY!!!! No getting ready for PICTURES!!!

Ryan with his two new games for his three LONG awaited years for the precious PLAY STATION!!!

Ryan also got some new shoes and a couple of new WARM shirts for Seattle!

Here I am with my new CHI!!! WAHOO now I can stop damaging my hair with my broken straightener!!!! Also with my new cute shoes Ryan picked out!!!!

He had gotten tickets to the Nutcracker for me as well but returned them when he found out I was going already!!! I was so shocked!!!! It meant a lot to me that he had thought of doing that because he is not the kind of guy to enjoy things like that!!!! I also get to go SHOPPING as part of my XMAS!!! I wanted to get some WARM WINTER clothes and BOOTS for Seattle!!! He said he attempted to try to pick out for me but decided to let me go and get what I wanted!!! SO EXCITED!!!

Here is Ryan and our friends for Breakfast!

I took a nap and then we went to my friends house for dinner! We did breakfast and they did dinner! We had a wonderful time hanging out and spending time with one another!!! Dinner was wonderful we had ribs! I swear I love this time just because of the FOOD!!!

Here is us at dinner!

Last year I was seriously the GRINCH!!! I was so sad, depressed, and it was so pathetic! Even with everything that crashed in on me the past month I have continued to feel peace and have this joy in my heart! I have had some pretty amazing experiences that I cant deny that our Savior lives and that he is aware of us! I had a wonderful opprotunity to have a mini early XMAS this year with close family friends and being with them makes everything ok! The past four months have been the best months I have had in a long time and I owe a lot of it to them! As I look back on this year.............it is by far not my favorite! I hope I never have to go through what I have had to endure again............but I will never forget what I have learned through those experiences! 2010 is going to be good...............I can feel it!!!!

I am sorry that I wasnt able to get all of my XMAS cards out due to being ill and such! Here are some of our XMAS FAMILY Pictures that we took in Seal Beach while we were there for Thanksgiving!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful XMAS and I wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Love,
THE WENNERLIND FAMILY!!!

I'm still in denial your moving. I'm telling myself that your going on a short vacation and will be back soon. I seriously hope that our family will be carried thru the trial of not having you in our lives the way you have been. I still start to cry at the very thought of you leaving, so I tell myself it's not forever. Having you in my life has eternally changed who I am and how I live my life. You've helped me so much. I love what a special spirit you are. I love how EVERYONE in my family loves you to death, including my hubby who's not one to take to my friends the way he has with you. I don't know what we'll do to replace the sweet spirit you bring into our home each and every time you come over. I feel as if our angel is being taken away. I pray our cell phones will start behaving and allow me to text you when I'm missing you. I just might have to buy a dog like Haydeez, because being his God mom from Seattle isn't going to work for the boys. I love you so much and am so grateful to Heavenly Father for loving me enough to put you in my life. I better end this letter, my eye's are starting to look freaky swollen from crying. Love ya babe!

Wow, Karmann, you have had a couple of crazy weeks recently!! I'm glad you had a great Christmas, though! I still have your Christmas card from us - I wasn't sure what address to send it to since I knew you were moving. So email me your current address and I'll finally get it to you! :) We had a great time in Chicago with Sharon, Nancy, Peter and their families.

Good luck on this next chapter in your life! I know the Lord will bless you and I hope you have a great new year! Love you!

Haydeez is honestly so cute!! Our ward here does that same tradition of hayride caroling and I LOVE IT!! I couldn't make it this year, but last year as we drove around the snow was heavily falling and it totally brought out the Christmas spirit. I'm glad you guys had a good Christmas...I like the sweatshirt you are wearing on Christmas morning too! Love the family pictures. You're such a cute thing!!
