California trip part one

When we left Arizona we drove to Seal Beach California and stayed with Ryan's aunt and Uncle in the beach house for a few days. We thought about Disneyland but decided not too. We instead hung out and went to see Avatar and spent time with one another. On our way up to Sacramento we stopped and saw our dear friends with the quadruplets and got to spend sometime with them for a few hours since we dont know the next time we will be down that way!

My dear friend Jo Lynn, my old roommate in SLC, lives in Sacramento and since both Ryan and I have not seen her or her husband in about five years we were excited when they said that we could come and stay with them for a day and spend time with them! THey have the cutest little girl that we just fell in love with. It didnt take long before Ryan had Sav all to himself! I love how EVERY child just is drawn to him! He is going to be such a good daddy someday! We spent Friday in Old Downtown Sacramento and it was so neat!

Ryan and Sav right before we left to go to San Fransicso! She wanted to be with him all the time! She loved when he read stories to her and played kitchen! Such a sweet boy I have!!!!




I was telling Ryan on our way to San Fransisco how lucky we are to have been in so many places and have met so many wonderful people! I love when you see friends that you havent seen in years and it seems like yesterday! It is then when you know they are friends forever and no matter how much time goes by you pick right up where you left!!! THanks so much Jo Lynn and Casey!!! We love you so much!!!

Dear Karm & Ryan,,
It was WONDERFUL to see you guys...no thank you for staying with us! We had such a fun time having you guys and Karm you are so right about picking up right where we left off! Ryan is going to make an incredible Daddy and I'm so excited for you guys to have a baby, Sav is missing all of you, but most of all the "puppy, puppy, puppy!" I'm thinking we need a dog, because she can't stop talking about "puppy!" We love you guys so much and I loved your post below, it's incredible how many people instantly fall in love with you guys and no matter where you go you touch the lives of so many! I know it will be the case in Washington and there are many needing you guys up there! I love you!!!!

Last week I was home doing some work before I had to leave for a Home Visit. I was siting on my couch when I hear someone on my back porch moving our chairs around. I thought it was Ryan since sometimes he comes in from the back when he puts his tools and ladders away. Except after this man gets the chair he places it in the corner by our french doors and sits down! My heart starts to beat and I go to the front to see if Ryan's truck is outside. This is really LONG and sorry mostly words but those of you who like to read my spiritual posts continue on because this is a big one! Just before Christmas Ryan and I were told about a possible adoption opportunity. We had talked about adopting in the past but had not done anything about it due to well.............. I cant really say. With this new opportunity of, just by chance my waiting to be a mom could be over, brought lots of emotions of excitement, joy, worry, anxiety, hope, and so many more. We needed to get our acts together right away in the process since the potential birth mom was due in May. Ryan's mom has a dear friend working for LDS services here in Washington and got us set up right away to get started on all the paperwork, online stuff, and going about getting all the background checks and homestudy done. BIG CHANGE

So I was asked a couple of weeks ago to teach a class for Enrichment on: HOW to CREATE a SAFE BLOG I had been fighting the feeling of putting my blog private for sometime now. I am a little lazy and haven't wanted to take the extra time to get everyones email and then go through the process of changing things over but the time has come TO MAKE A CHANGE! I do use my blog to share my life and all aspects of it. I have been really personal in the past year and I know that a lot of people that I really didnt/shouldnt have read the things that I have been going through have read it.
