Joys of BEING around FAMILY

Being here in Eatonville Washington now for almost a month has been so wonderful! The past seven years of marriage Ryan and I have missed out on so many things when it comes to being with family. We have missed out on activities for his younger siblings, Sunday family dinners, birthdays and holidays! It has been so nice to be here for some of these things and Ryan and I have tried to do as much as we can!

Just before we got here it was Ryan’s little brothers 17th birthday. We wanted to do something with him since we were finally here in Washington. We asked him where he would like to go to eat for his birthday! He is just like his older brother and chose Outback Steakhouse! It is always amazing to me the similarities that him and Ryan have even though Ryan has been out of the house now since Drew was 8 years old. We took him to Outback and he got a big steak with mashed potatoes and we enjoyed the traditional Bloomin Onion!

Here is Drew enjoying his yummy BIRTHDAY DINNER

The next day we were able to go and see Drew play Church Basketball. He again is just like his older brother and has a talent with basketball and has a love of sports. Ryan was placed as the assitant coach right away for the team to help the boys out.

Here are few shots of Drew being the BEST player on the team and his older brother as the Coach!

The next day was Sunday and we had the TRADITIONAL sunday BIRTHDAY dinner for DREW. SInce it was his day he chose spaggetti for dinner and an icecream cake for dessert.

Here are pictures of his birthday singing and dessert! YUM YUM!

Also being here around family Ryan and I have had time to spend with our Niece and Nephew, Isaac and Alyssa. Ryan's younger brother Kyle and his wife Kim live pretty close so it is nice to see them often. They left last weekend for a wedding so we got to spend the weekend with the kids and had a good time. Mom and I went on walks with them since it was so nice outside!

Here is her and the kids and the beautiful moutain!

Isaac loved our puppy! Here are some pictures of him with the puppy they are fuzzy cause he is moving while I was taking them.

Kim and Kyle came back on Saturday night and then came for Sunday dinner to celebrate Kyle's birthday! He chose to have birthday pie instead of cake! Isaac kept saying Happy Birthday Cake Pie! It was so cute!

Here are a few shots of the Birthday boy with is son

Alyssa and I with our flowers!

Hard to believe a month has almost gone by that we have been here in Washington! Time goes so fast! I start my new job on Tuesday and look forward to working with more children and their families. Ryan is all set for teaching and hopes to start here real soon with subbing. We are hoping for other exciting things to fall into place as well. No doubt about it that the Lord has a plan for each one of us! It makes things so much easier knowing that!

Love all the pictures. You and your niece look adorable with your hair bowes. I'm really happy your happy to be with family, but don't get to comfortable. This family member (ME!) is hoping that you'll come back home to us. ( Eatonville is beautiful, I'd never leave.) That mountain is so beautiful. I'm really excited for the kids that get to work with for your job. The parents have no idea what kind of blessings they're about to get just by having you in their home. We miss and love you tons.
