LUCKY 7
I think when you refer to the number 7 it is suppose to be LUCKY. I told Ryan that this year is our lucky year I just feel it!
On May 24th we celebrated our 7th Anniversary together. Ryan surprised me with a weekend getaway to downtown Seattle. He got an AMAZING room at the Grand Hyatt- A corner Suite with a few to die for!
On May 24th we celebrated our 7th Anniversary together. Ryan surprised me with a weekend getaway to downtown Seattle. He got an AMAZING room at the Grand Hyatt- A corner Suite with a few to die for!
Here are some shots of day and night! The whole suite was windows so one side was of the Space Needle and buildings and the other was of Pikes Market Place and the Ocean.
Saturday morning we got up and went to a little Cafe just down the street. The nice thing about Seattle is EVERYWHERE you go you can find GLUTEN FREE dining and ORGANIC dining. It made it so nice for me to enjoy eating out with Ryan.
We then took the Ferry over to BAMBRIDGE ISLAND where we hung out and the beach, the harbor and walked around the cute little town. It was so nice to just sit with Ryan and talk with him for hours. Is has been a long time since we have been completly alone and it was definitly needed.
Ryan walking into the forest to get to the beach
The LOVE SHACK someone made- Made me laugh
IF you look closely you can see Seattle
We could see the clouds start to roll in so we headed back to the Ferry and went back to Seattle. We walked around Pikes Market Place for a little bit! I love it there so much! I love the atmepshere there. Everyone is happy and there is fresh organic EVERYTHING you can imangine to eat and the flowers and booths and hussle and bussle of people! We then walked down this alley that was completly full wall to wall with this colorful sticky stuff!!!!
CAN YOU GUESS WHAT IT IS!!??
If you guessed GUM you are CORRECT~
Pretty Gross but also pretty dang funny!
We headed back to the hotel and decided to go to Outback for dinner. Outback was a little ways away but we decided to take the tram to the Space Needle and then walk about five blocks to get there since we didnt want to take the car out to have to pay to park it again.
The clouds DEFINITLY decided to roll in and boy did it down pour on us as we walked to Outback! I was laughing so hard as we were getting soaked even with our huge umbrella. Normally I would of have been FREAKING out since I hate to get wet and I hate RAIN but I thought it was so fun and did care at all. When we walked into Outback we were quite the scene but it just made it a perfect memory!
Here are some pictures of the Seattle Space Needle and City Center
The next morning we got up and went to Breakfast and then headed home. I cant tell you how sad I was to leave the Hotel. I wanted to stay there FOREVER and just have it be Ryan and I! I hate when reality has to come into play!
We did miss our baby though! He missed us too! Even though he is a puppy and not a child he is so much a part of us that it is hard to be away from him for too long.
It was a WONDERFUl weekend where we were able to hang out and just talk. I cant believe that 7 years has gone by. I NEVER would have thought that our life would be like this at our 7 year mark but I am happy that it is. I think Ryan and I are very lucky to have had this time to be with just each other. Our relationship is defintily grown and I couldnt be more happy. We both hope that with all the changes that I have made and the hard work that I am doing with the diet that it can be our lucky year to have a family but if it is not we will continue to move forward and trust in the Lord's timing.

And I looooove the new family picture! Haydeez is getting so big, I love it!
Year 7 was our lucky year... I kept telling Cory "we WILL have a baby this year!" and lo and behold, after a handful of the wrong birthmom's, the perfect one came along. Fingers crossed this is YOUR year!!!!!!! xoxo
