Happy 1st Birthday Haydeez

It is hard to believe that Haydeez is one years old already. I know kind of crazy that I am talking about a dog and having a birthday and all but he is our special little spirit for our family at this time. We have also been apart of his life since he was hours old.

We didnt do anything too big on his birthday. Ryan took him to PETSMART to pick out a toy and some treats. He was so excited to be there that he peed three times in the store!!!! He picked out a duck that honks and some "real not good for doggy" treats for when he goes potty on his pad.

Haydeez has been such a sweet blessing in our lives this past year. He has brought us great joy and happiness. He loves us unconditionally. We love when we get home how much he has missed us and all the kisses and love he gives us. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him. He is such a good doggy. He is fully house trained on his pee mat and we are able to travel with him and stay in hotels because he goes on his pad and he is not a barker. We cant thank our friends Deanna and Mike enough for giving us one of their puppies. He has truly blessed our life this past year and has helped us through the heartache of infertility.

AAAwww! So many adorable pictures! I love it! He is so so cute! I love the picture with him wearing the birthday party hat! So cute! I was watching the video and Brutus walked in so I put my earbud up to his ear to listen...but he did not like it one bit! haha! We are so glad Abby's baby is in such a good home! We miss him & you guys!

Happy Birthday Haydeez!! So adorable! I am cannot believe it has been 6 months since you left AZ! Moving even when it what you are supposed to be doing is never easy! The initial excitement wears off quickly. Oh my goodness. I want to reach through this screen and give you the biggest hug. I have been there! I know that feeling of waking up and just going through the motions. You know, this week at church our lesson was on Jobe and it was a really good lesson. In discussion we talked a lot about.. why me? and...how we often feel we are doing everything we are supposed to be doing so, why can't we just have the blessings we ask for. Someone brought up a good point. It was a little hard to swallow but something I needed to hear, she said, "The Lord blesses us always, but we don't get to choose our blessings, he blesses us with what he knows we need and on his own time frame, sometimes we think we are entitled to whatever blessings we ask for...and sometimes (all the time) the Lord knows better." I know he does and will give us the righteous desires of hearts. So hang in there. The most amazing part in all your struggles Karmann is that you remain faithful! You always have, and I know you always will, and there will be rich blessings in store for you! You are amazing! Thinking of you! I miss you! Love ya!

Oh my gosh! That is by far my most favorite post you've done. Crazy to think he's already one years old? Time fly's yet it seems like we've known him (and you) for years and years. I put on the video and my WHOLE family ran to the room hearing his bark and your voice. We sure miss you BOTH! I need to get you pictures of his first Christmas. I have really cute ones of him at our house when we had our mini Christmas. I am so glad that you have him. animals are part of the family as much as children are. He's a special dog that was sent to be with a special family. We love you guys and miss you even more.

Last week I was home doing some work before I had to leave for a Home Visit. I was siting on my couch when I hear someone on my back porch moving our chairs around. I thought it was Ryan since sometimes he comes in from the back when he puts his tools and ladders away. Except after this man gets the chair he places it in the corner by our french doors and sits down! My heart starts to beat and I go to the front to see if Ryan's truck is outside. This is really LONG and sorry mostly words but those of you who like to read my spiritual posts continue on because this is a big one! Just before Christmas Ryan and I were told about a possible adoption opportunity. We had talked about adopting in the past but had not done anything about it due to well.............. I cant really say. With this new opportunity of, just by chance my waiting to be a mom could be over, brought lots of emotions of excitement, joy, worry, anxiety, hope, and so many more. We needed to get our acts together right away in the process since the potential birth mom was due in May. Ryan's mom has a dear friend working for LDS services here in Washington and got us set up right away to get started on all the paperwork, online stuff, and going about getting all the background checks and homestudy done. BIG CHANGE

So I was asked a couple of weeks ago to teach a class for Enrichment on: HOW to CREATE a SAFE BLOG I had been fighting the feeling of putting my blog private for sometime now. I am a little lazy and haven't wanted to take the extra time to get everyones email and then go through the process of changing things over but the time has come TO MAKE A CHANGE! I do use my blog to share my life and all aspects of it. I have been really personal in the past year and I know that a lot of people that I really didnt/shouldnt have read the things that I have been going through have read it.
