I tend to go on STREAKS of POSTS where it is mainly thoughts, experiences, and at times DEEP emotions.

Today I thought I would LIGHTEN things up and do a POST of things that we have been up to lately.

Ryan's cousin came into town from California with her boyfriend Ryan! We met them down at the strip to hang out and have some GOOD food! I have a harder times these days finding GOOD food without having to deal with my restrictions!

When we lived in LV before it was one of Ryan and I's favorite thing was to go and do a different restaruant every weekend well, that has changed now due to my DIET. One of the BIGGEST downers is that we LOVE us a GOOD buffet but SADLY buffets are DOOMED for CROSS CONTAMINATION!

BUT..........low and behold MY FAVORITE BUFFET in Las Vegas the WYNN BUFFET has GLUTEN items. I was a little skeptical because it HAPPENS to be VERY good but ALSO VERY expensive. We go there on special ocassions. I told Ryan I would check it out and IF it was worth the money for me than I would eat too if not I would be social and hang out. I have to do that a lot and I am fine with it!

The TOP CHEF took me around the WHOLE buffet and showed me each and every entry that was GLUTEN FREE! To my amazement EVERYTHING that I LOVED besides the bread options was GLUTEN FREE! NEEDLESS to say I PIGGED out!!

Then I thought for sure I would be left out on the dessert part BUT NOPE! There were these DEVINE Key Lime Pie desserts in little shot glasses and I swear they had me coming back for more 1,2,3,4 and 5 times! Yup, Ryan ONCE again had to ROLL me out of the BUFFET!!



And to TOP it off....................NO TUMMY hurting afterwards! LEFT ME ONE HAPPY GIRL!

We then went walking around and since the ECONOMY is a BUST here in LV people have taken on a new way to make MONEY! Dress up like a FREAK, SUPERHERO, MOVIE STAR, or do WEIRD things. This guy had 2 parrots and you pay him 10 bucks and you get to take pictures with them. My cousin was all about it! So here we are with some parrots!







Ryan's business partner that he used to work with when we lived in AZ lives in LV and we have LOVED being closer to them again bought a baby girl yorkie! Haydeez and Rosy were introduced!!! We are doing a prearranged marriage! I cant believe that Haydeez used to be that small and so black! It was so fun to see them playing!!! They are going to make some CUTE puppies!!!




My girl Nicole and I had some fun at the store one day messing around and here are some fun photos that we took of each other. I now know what I would like if I had a mustache like my dad use to! ;)

We had a chance to spend time with one of my families that I use to work with. I blogged about them about 2 years ago when they came to visit me the first Summer we lived in AZ. Ryan and I had a blast with them. We took them out to dinner played on the trampoline, and took them miniature golfing. I cant wait to be able to do things like this as a family! It was so much fun! We LOVE these 2 girls so much!!!





It is so nice to be back in Las Vegas and enjoying the warm 70's when the other part of the country is having winter! I checked Seattle today and it snowed! Just like it did last year at this time! CRAZY!!! and I am NOT the least bit sad about it! I love having Sunny Warm weather for WINTER time!

Looking forward to spending THANKSGIVING at SEAL BEACH with Ryan's Aunt, cousins, and Uncle!

so glad the Wynn has that awesome gluten free buffet. Smart move on their part.

I love this post, but I read it thinking it was going to be about ryan's teaching job opportunity....so get posting about that chica!

What fun things you have been doing! I have actually heard wonderful things about the Wynn buffet! That is so awesome that you guys can still enjoy eating out at a place like that! So FUN!!

Great post Karm, looks like things are going very well and oh my heavens that puppy is darling!!!! So precious to see them playing together...babies, mmmm maybe I want one! Vegas sounds great, we need to come visit but we are great if you guys come visit us to! Still kick myself that I missed Ryan when he came back through town! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and I love you girl, tell your sweet hubby hello! Oh I just have to say how happy I am for you that you got to pig out...you deserve that and you could stand to gain some weight to! :) Love ya

It sounds like things are going well for you. That buffet sound amazing! One of my favorite things about LV is the buffets. Your puppy is adorable I am glad you guys are happy and doing well.

Last week I was home doing some work before I had to leave for a Home Visit. I was siting on my couch when I hear someone on my back porch moving our chairs around. I thought it was Ryan since sometimes he comes in from the back when he puts his tools and ladders away. Except after this man gets the chair he places it in the corner by our french doors and sits down! My heart starts to beat and I go to the front to see if Ryan's truck is outside. This is really LONG and sorry mostly words but those of you who like to read my spiritual posts continue on because this is a big one! Just before Christmas Ryan and I were told about a possible adoption opportunity. We had talked about adopting in the past but had not done anything about it due to well.............. I cant really say. With this new opportunity of, just by chance my waiting to be a mom could be over, brought lots of emotions of excitement, joy, worry, anxiety, hope, and so many more. We needed to get our acts together right away in the process since the potential birth mom was due in May. Ryan's mom has a dear friend working for LDS services here in Washington and got us set up right away to get started on all the paperwork, online stuff, and going about getting all the background checks and homestudy done. BIG CHANGE

So I was asked a couple of weeks ago to teach a class for Enrichment on: HOW to CREATE a SAFE BLOG I had been fighting the feeling of putting my blog private for sometime now. I am a little lazy and haven't wanted to take the extra time to get everyones email and then go through the process of changing things over but the time has come TO MAKE A CHANGE! I do use my blog to share my life and all aspects of it. I have been really personal in the past year and I know that a lot of people that I really didnt/shouldnt have read the things that I have been going through have read it.
