6 weeks

I thought that it might take a little longer! I was hoping that it wouldnt but after a month passed by I wrote Dr Sher.  I wrote him to ask if there was any tests or things that Ryan and I could do while we wait to hear from the Foundation. He told me he did not want to see me or do any tests because it was going to be money out of my pocket and he didnt want to take money from me if there was a chance I would be picked. He told me to hold on a little longer even though it was hard.

So I let it go! I stopped looking for it and figured it could be later this year and to not keep looking for it! It was a relief to let it go. I like to plan things out and somewhat have control but lets be honest, has it EVER gone the way that I think it will go? NOPE!

A shock came to me yesterday when I opened up my email and there is a title stated:
CONGRATULATIONS KARMANN AND KARL
from: INCIID the heart!

My heart dropped as I opened up the document and read:

Dear Karmann and Karl,
After a careful review of your application for a From INCIID the
Heart IVF Scholarship, it was determined you are eligible and INCIID
would like to offer spot in the IVF scholarship program.

As a recipient finalist in the program, the first step in the process
is to sign and return the attached standard confidentiality agreement. I
am also attaching a scholarship acceptance agreement packet. You may
fax or email the scanned confidentiality agreement to us at (703) 379-
1593 as long as you also send us the hard copy in the mail. Once we
have the confidentiality agreement in hand, we will email the other
documents necessary to get you started.

Please re-read the updated FAQ and review what is and more
importantly what is not covered in the scholarship. After accepting the
scholarship, you will have access to the “From INCIID the Heart” IVF
Scholarship Forum on INCIID.

It only took 6 weeks! I am in shock!! We are so excited!!! This is 100% a blessing from God! This whole process and the ability to have this opportunity is NOT by accident! Prayers and having Faith is why this happened! Not by luck, chance, or happenstance!! God lives! He hears our prayers! He knows us by name. He knows our wants and our inner most desires! Sometimes things take a little longer to happen and it is not always the way we want but he does keep his promises!! I am so grateful right now! I know that this is only the start of a very long road but I have NO doubt I will continue to be lead and guided.

I dont know the details. I dont know how it will go just yet. I am waiting to get the packet. I am not sure if we have to raise the 3500 dollars first before we get started. I am sure I will know more by the end of the week. I will keep you posted.

Just wanted to tell you all thank you so much for your emails, comments, prayers, and support! I could not have held on this long through the past 5 years to get to this point with out you!
