Dinner, DBACKS, 18 holes of Golf, Dinner and DBACKS again= HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN

Image
Since Ryan did such an awesome job with my birthday last year with the surprise Villa and massage I knew I needed to do a good job for him this year. We had wanted to go to California again since he loved going to the Angels game for his big day. Well since we went to Vegas the week before and we are going to California at the end of June we opted not to. I thought I would get him D-BACK tickets instead and we would go to that in the late afternoon and I would set an early tee time for Sat morning for us to golf together. I had it all planned out and on Wed he texted me telling me that his buddy Jason gave him Diamond Back tickets for Friday and wanted to know if we had plans!!!!!!!! I was like great! I bought tickets for Sat for his birthday and now I have to let the cat out of the bag! I NEVER get to surprise him. He was so excited about going to the game twice that it ended up being a good thing! I was so happy! The game on Friday was a late game so I made reservations at Kincaids (...

An Eternal Family

A couple of posts back I did one on one of my little girls that I had in Vegas that was placed in a new home with her older and younger sister. Well, the adoption was final the end of May and their sealing was Sat. June 6, 2009! We werent sure when the sealing was going to be so about a month ago we had made plans to go to California for the week before Ryan's birthday. We went last year and it was so fun. We got the invite to the sealing the same weekend that we had wanted to go. Both of us looked at each other and new that we were going to have to put the California trip on hold and were so excited to go to Las Vegas and be there for this special sealing. It was an extremely quick trip. I had a lot of doctors appointments on Friday so we left late and spent most of Sat with the family and then got up early Sunday and drove home. Even though it was a quick trip it was so worth it! I was bawling even before the family walked into the sealing room. Then when they walked in hand in h...

Heart Attacked

We live in the best neighborhood and have some of the best neighbors who also just so happen are in our ward. A couple of weeks ago on a Monday night we had a knock on our door and before we could get to the door we heard squeeling tires and saw the glimpse of an SUV drive off really fast. We opened our door to this! It was such a sweet surprise! They left us those yummy goodies, lots of hearts forked in our yard with sweet quotes to help lift your spirits, they wrote sayings on our driveway, and left some pretty yummy smelly lotion and spray with a card from one of my Young Woman! It seriously made me smile from ear to ear! I needed that so much! I love surprises!

Last year I didnt get to write on the official day due to moving and no internet set up yet. So I thought since it was Sunday and it really isnt a day of celebrating the traditional way due to not being able to go out I would take time to write Happy Anniversary # 6 Saturday, May 24, 2003, 8:00 in the morning in Nauvoo, lL.! All I can say is: WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE!?? I remember my grandpa telling us over dinner right before we got married to really soak in the time together and cherish the school years even if they seem that they are hard and that the end is so far away Because it will come and go like a blink of an eye. I was like YEAH RIGHT!!! I have 4 to 5 long years ahead of us since Ryan had no schooling when we got married!!! Now that it has been a year since Ryan has been out of school and we have been in Phoenix. I do cherish that time and boy he was right about gone in a blink of an eye! Us in Chicago on part of our honeymoon Not only does this mark our 6th year of m...

Some Results are in!

Well it looks like there is more to the story as I should have expected. I know a lot of you do not want to hear me say again what has happened so I wont but you can guess! After it happened I finally suckered up and went and got my blood work done that the doctor had wanted me to do two months ago. She also referred me to see a Fertility Specialist. She had done all that she could and wanted me to go to higher help. I finally bit the bullet after fighting with myself for two months and made the phone call to see a Fertility Specialist. Very hard for me to do! I got in right away. Such a blessing cause I dont think I could have waited for a long time. The doctor is a little Indian woman and she is very straight to the point. By the time she was done consulting Ryan and I she had a list of 8 things we needed to do and have the results back in to her before we see her on the 11th of June. I have some things that I have to do that I am not too excited about but at this point it is worth i...

Wyatt Comes All the Way from Pullman

Image
When Ryan and I were first married we lived in SLC and his cousin Amy and her husband James lived in Provo. They had the cutest, smartest, sweetest little baby boy named Wyatt. We all know how Ryan is with children and this little boy bonded with Ryan as a little baby and has had Ryan on a pedal stool his whole life. He is now 6 years old and even though we don't live by one another anymore he still calls Ryan, talks about Ryan and wants to be just like Ryan. A month ago we got a special visitor. Wyatt came all the way from Pullman Washington to visit us for a little bit. His class did a special project from the book Flat Stanly. He made a self body portrait and had to choose his favorite person to send him to visit. He of course picked Ryan. Lucky for Wyatt that same week that we got him we were taking our trip to Las Vegas and got to take Wyatt all over with us. Here are some of the adventures that Wyatt got to do with us!!!! We started the trip out at the Hoover Dam- So funny ca...
